It was suggested to me that I place some of my culinary experiments online. More often than not, these are born out of necessity and mismatched leftovers. It's easier to eat prepared food. When I have to cook for myself, strange things happen. A few nights ago, I made the concoction pictured below. While boiling bowtie noodles in one pot, I fried onion, green pepper, cabbage, broccoli, and green beans in a pan. If I had more cabbage, I would have just used that, but I didn't. I threw some leftover pork on top. Delirious with hunger and not knowing what I was doing, somehow the mixture ended up covered with red pepper flakes, garlic powder, ginger powder, flour, and quite a lot of cinnamon (the holes were bigger than I expected). The kitchen smelled like pie. Adding the noodles and some water, I stirred and let the gravy thicken. It was pretty good after I drenched it in Kikkoman Soy Sauce - as are most things.
