SuperGirl is accused of teaching women to measure their value based on their sexual attractiveness simply because her outfit allows her midriff to show and she has large breasts. People use this as an example of how there is a double-standard of expectations between men and women. Yet, SuperMan has a tight suit showing his large muscles, he keeps his hair short, and shaves his face to look nice (or uses his heat vision to fry the hairs off), and no one has problems with this. I’m surprised they don’t complain about SuperGirl’s long hair. In reality, some women have large breasts and men and women dress differently. It's not what she's teaching, it's how people interpret her.
