I was eating breakfast at McDonald's and created this doodle. The star potatoe emits a tractor beam from its mouth not only to absorb needed minerals from asteroids, but to keep from floating away. Using the beam, it can hold onto very small asteroids while orbiting them very fast, flinging themselves or the asteroid in a desired direction by letting go. The creatures feed on ultraviolet light from the sun and can also use their tractor beams to manipulate their orbits to remain on the lit side.
