The creature below has no joints in its legs except where they connect to the body. It walks stiffly as if on stilts. In an animal of fewer legs this would be a disaster, but when you have as many as this one does (including a pair at the very tip of the snout) it isn't a big deal. The bulges were going to be eyes, but then I thought they might be gill pouches that hold water and blow air bubbles through it to keep it oxygenated. Obviously, this creature (and maybe the one below it) is related to the myriapod chordates posted about before here and here.
