"I can do it," the towel said.
"No, its too big for you!" the mop and broom told him.
"I'm super-absorbent! I can absorb anything!" the towel insisted. The towel wiped back and forth and back and forth, absorbing more and more of the spill. He went around the chairs and under the table, wiping it up, making the spill smaller and smaller.
"That's enough, you'll hurt yourself" the mop and broom told him.
"No, I can do it." The towel insisted. The towel continued back and forth. Soon, the towel begins to shrink.
"Watch out, you're shrinking!" the mop and broom warned him.
The towel no longer even heard them, focused exclusively on its work. It continued sopping up the spill, still shrinking and shrinking until both the spill and the paper towel completely vanish.
“What happened?" the broom asked the mop.
"He became self-absorbed." The mop answered.
