Nathaniel and his Stuffians respond to a call for help from a Human colony on the edge of the salt nebula that is being displaced by an invasion of ant-headed wolverines named Anterines. They drive “tanks” shaped like mug racks. The “pegs” are guns and soldiers stand on the lower platform. Talking with the Anterines, Nathaniel discovers that they have nowhere to go since their homeworld was overrun by giant bats. Since the Humans are from Earth and this is only one of many colonies, the Anterines thought it wouldn’t be so bad to take it. Talking to the giant bats, Nathaniel finds that they have nowhere to go since their homeworld was overrun by armored hominids five centimeters tall and able to emit powerful radiation. Talking to the tiny hominids, Nathaniel finds that they have nowhere to go since their homeworld was overrun by robots. The robots want to take over as many worlds as possible and they want to fight Nathaniel.
The robots come in many forms (turtles, monkeys, rhinos) and have machine guns, flame throwers, spiked boots, swords, and chainsaws. They are ruled by Allison.
Since all of the races had taken their worlds by force in the distant past, it raises the question of how long it takes before something is considered theirs. Moral dilemmas ensue, but Nathaniel manages to forge an alliance of all the races to counter Allison’s army. In the end, Allison herself dies (she comes back to life in a later episode).
